All AMP Fab insect and specimen collection storage cabinets are built to the Natural History Museum’s exacting specifications using inert materials throughout.

Each AMP Fab entomology cabinet is a fully welded steel construction and is designed and manufactured to last for a minimum of fifty years; ensuring the safe storage of specimen collections that are often irreplaceable.

The highest build standards with extremely fine tolerances ensure AMP Fab Entomology Cabinets have a complete seal which precludes the ingress of undesirable organisms. All plastazote used during manufacture is LD45 with 3m 316 adhesive, as specified by The Natural History Museum in London.

All preservation storage cabinets supplied by AMP Fab are individually dual point locking and fitted with highly resilient nylon slides to both protect the wooden drawers and assist with drawer movement.

• All AMP Fab Specimen Cabinets are available in a wide range of colours and come supplied ex-works with all fixings included.
• Entomology storage cabinets are designed to fit a maximum drawer size of 446mm wide x 443mm deep x 57mm high.
• Labelling specimen collections within storage cabinets is provided by a clear acrylic label holder attached by magnetic strip; this prevents breakage when inserting or removing specimen identification cards.
